What is a “cookie” and how does NetJets use them?
NetJets may place “cookies” on your computer or device that may contain anonymous information that is associated with you. Cookies are small text files a website uses to recognize users, and are typically placed on your browser by a web server. Cookies contain information that can later be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you or that, in some cases, can be read by a third-party domain.
Our cookies may record information about your visits to the Owner Portal so that we can provide a continuous and more personalized experience for you, including for one or more of the following purposes: to help identify visitors; assess usage patterns; identify preferences; diagnose problems with our servers; gather demographic information; analyze trends and usage patterns; conduct research; deliver editorial content; record registration and personalized information; and otherwise administer NetJets products and services.
The table below explains the cookies we use and why:
Name of Cookie
There are four cookies from Hubspot to track session information, visitor identity and session restarts.
Google Tag Manager
This system allows us to manage the tags we use on our site. This cookie works in conjunction with tag manager and is used to load web script and code into the webpages.
This is a cookie that collects anonymous statistical data related to the user's website visits, such as the number of visits, average time spent on the website and what pages have been loaded. The purpose is to segment the website's users according to factors such as demographics and geographical location, to enable media and marketing agencies to structure and understand their target groups to enable customized online advertising.
There are four cookies associated with software from Dynatrace, an application performance management (APM) software company. Their software manages the availability and performance of software applications and the impact on user experience in the form of deep transaction tracing, synthetic monitoring, real user monitoring, and network monitoring.
Google Universal Analytics
There are two cookies from Google Analytics. One registers a unique ID that is used to generate statistical data on how the visitor uses the website. The other is used to distinguish unique users by assigning a randomly generated number as a client identifier. It is included in each page request in a site and used to calculate visitor, session and campaign data for the site’s analytics reports.
This is used to register and report the website user's actions after viewing or clicking one of the advertiser's ads with the purpose of measuring the efficacy of an ad and to present targeted ads to the user.
Links to Third Party Sites
We may link to other sites or apps or have third party services on our platforms we don’t control, such as Chase bank noted above. If you click on a third-party link, you will be taken to a platform we do not control. This policy does not apply to the privacy practices of those websites or platforms.
